FALL BASEBALL

Baseball City is operating a Fall Baseball league in the Greater Hartford area this upcoming season for players of all ages and ability levels.  The baseball instruction your child will receive will be like no other program.  Designed by professional manager Bill Masse your child will absolutely learn the pro style approach to hitting, fielding, pitching and attitude.  In addition, Baseball City has assembled the best group of professional instructors in the Northeast.  Guest Lecturers will include current minor league scouts, double A players, professional big leaguers and Baseball City Instructors/coaches.  Again, you can register as a free agent and be placed with the best players in the Greater Hartford area or your coach can simply organize a team and register your team in one of our divisions.

Field Directions

Program outline: 

The intent of this program is to educate the ball player by introducing him to the 90 foot big diamond and touching upon aspects of playing the pro game/high school game. Ballplayers will be taught the pro way to do things.  Bill Masse, manager for the Toronto Blue Jays Double A team has designed an outstanding curriculum that focuses on fielding your position, base running, situations, hitting, and pitching.  This may be the best 8 week investment you could ever make for your child.

Who:            Taught by professional, collegiate, and amateur coaches from our BC staff.
What:           Fall Baseball

When:          Skills Evaluation/Tryout Day Friday August 24 & Sunday August 26

Time:            6pm to 8:30pm
Where:         Baseball City (Hartford, CT)
Cost:            Free Agent Registration Fee $225 per player
                   Team Registration Fee $550 per team

Staff:           See our instructional staff page.  Staff will be providing clinics during fall.
Age:             13-U (Cut off date November 1st)

Program:      7-8 weeks, beginning last week in August, 2007 

Practices:     1-2 times a week either indoor and outdoor or as determined by coach.

Games:         Single games/Double header games on Sunday beginning September 9
