Weekend
On Sunday, BC East held off BC South in a 9-8 ballgame. A
strong pitching performance by the BC East staff and timely
hitting put the East over the top. The South came back from
a 4-2 deficit to take the lead 8-4 and then the East scored
5 unanswered runs to get the win.

The Capitals East defeated the Capitals South by a score
of 9-8. Chris Longo had a two run double and A.J. Fusco
drove in the winning run with a single.

Baseball City East
Results
First Game: Defeated CT Blue Jays 8-4 behind hitting of
A.J. Fusco, who had 2 hits, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored.
Second game: Lost 13-6 to CT Blaze. Blaze broke open a
6-5 game with 5-run 6th inning. Jason Katz
and Chris Longo each had 2 hits and 2 runs scored.
Third Game: (second game of doubleheader) Lost to CT
Blaze 13-2. Chris Longo had 2 hits, including a long
double, and A.J. Fusco had 2 hits and 2 runs scored.
Fourth Game: Defeated Guilford 9-4. Chris Longo had 3
hits and 2 RBIs, Nick Berey had 3 hits, and Tyler
Ambrose and Ben Berey had 2 hits each. Five pitchers
combined to shut down a hard-hitting Guilford club.

9-8-07 Weekend
The CT Capitals East
ousted the CT Blue Jays 7-3 at East Catholic High School
beginning the fall season with a 1-0 record.
The CT Capitals South
on the road played the Guilford Gold at Adams Middle
School. The Capitals need only 5 innings to take care of
business propelling themselves to a 13-1 victory.
On Saturday, the CT
Capitals North blitzed the CT Capitals West in
an early Saturday morning game at Nevers Field in South
Windsor.
